I am not sure if u were born as an idiot or became an idiot after being turning a so called "donor".
To be frank I stopped contributing as and when IV started having donor forums.
There are thousands of websites and forums througout the internet to get info and what VKBris posted may not even come close to what Q and Teddy and so many others used to share as a group.
Now coming on to freebies,What benefit does IV provide to past contributors.I have contributed in the past, have been active at the initial stages,have spent my own money and booked airtickets to meet senators.Been a leader in a state chapter.But later realised that it was not worth for this forum which has partitions among so called donors.
Why the heck does any one want to see in a home page about posts on a donor forum.Just hide it and keep it among yourself and discuss .
Now red may follow,and a possible ban.

Received the physical card and the welcome notice on mail yesterday for self and welcome notice for my wife. Status still under initial review for self and for wife it is under post decision.
Came to US in early 2001
Applied first labor in 2003 and labor went to backlog elimination center
Joined another company in 2005

Applied I485 in July 2007
Opened SR on 9/1/2010
Went to Infopass on 9/13/2010, was told that we have to wait and we will get an interview letter.
Contacted Senator's office - Told to wait for 4 week for someone to contact us from the senator's office, only 2 weeks has passed.

I am seeing only the past contributors contributing again and again and also giving all the requried clarification on immigration issues for the non-contributing members. I am feeling like we(the contributors) are carrying dead weight with us.

I called up to find that my application is still not in the system. Surprisingly, the IO would not put the phone down and keeps on chatting to enlighten me. Seem to have lot of time on hand.
1. My application is most likely transfered to texas since my I-140 was approved there
2. FIFO is valid only if the application is not transfered. Once it is transfered, the receiving center will take the date 'they' received to put in queue for data entry. If your application took continental US tour, more delay.
3. He is asnwering 5-6 calls every day from July 2 filers. There are several of them. So plenty of July 2 apps still waiting to be entered.
4. The application is not rejected for sure, since even a rejection would be entered into the system.
5. he cannot raise a service request without receipt number.
I sent mail to USCIS withe fedex scanned signature, wrote to Senator. Its frustrating.
The bottom line is there is no bottomline, except to wait.

I voted for Citizenship if you have lived legally in this Country for 10 years continuously, although I will be completing my 10 years next year only. Good luck to all those aspiring this.

The link is related to the fingerprinting background check. Almost 100% of the time the automated system returns an FBI record (an existance or not of a "rap sheet"). Only in rare cases when the finger prints are not clear USCIS sends a new FP notice.
The issue here is the FBI name check which returns less than 68% in the automated response. Around 32% of cases (485/n400) are delayed of which less than 1% really may have a negative record most of which are reported by IBIS and finger print check.

My Guess is , It is a rumour . since the USCIS suspended the I -140 Premium Service for the month of july . It clearly indicates they are aware of the I -485 filings from July 1st and do not want to promise I- 140 decision in 15 days during July .

Just the other day I was dreaming that Obama will pass a rule that all those who are here in US legally for 10 years + will get citizenship....:):) Maybe I was dreaming too much...
